Enrolment Information

Young men are generally accepted into the College in Year 5 or Year 7 with intakes in other years depending on vacancies. Interviews are generally conducted two years prior to the year of entry.

Enrolment Updates

YEAR 5 AND 7 2025 AND 2026

2027 - REGISTER YOUR INTEREST TODAY

Register your interest for Year 5 or 7 in 2027 by completing an expression of interest. Formal applications for Year 7, 2027 will open shortly with Year 5, 2027 applications opening mid next year. Interviews for Year 7 will occur in Term 1, 2025 and for Year 5, 2027 will occur in Term 3.

If your son’s year level is currently a waitlist please still consider lodging an application. Family movement can occur across year levels, so vacancies do arise from time to time. If your son is on our waitlist we will be able to contact you should a position become available.

ENROLMENT PROCEDURE

Prospective families can register their interest in enrolling their son at the College by completing an expression of interest at any stage.

Upon lodging an expression of interest, your son's details will be placed in the College database. Please note: the registration process is an expression of interest only and will not be considered an official application for enrolment.

Approximately two years prior to your nominated start year, the College will forward details and login credentials for completing an official Application for Enrolment. The application with require the uploading of your son's Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, most recent School Report and NAPLAN Test results. An administration fee of $150 will accompany the Application for Enrolment. This fee is non-refundable.

When advised, parents will be required to make an enrolment interview booking via our online booking system. The interview involves a more detailed explanation of the ethos and educational practices of St Patrick's College and seeks a commitment to these practices.

Offers of places are made in April/September of that year (approximately 18 months before the year of entry). When insufficient enrolment places are available for prospective students, a waiting list will be created and families will be notified indicating their placement on the waiting list.

Parents accept the official offer of enrolment through our online system together with payment of the confirmation fee of $500. This fee is non-refundable.

Early in Term 4 of the year prior to your son's year of entry, an Orientation Evening is conducted for parents and students.
